Partnership
The partnership responsible for NorthPark is as exceptional as the project. The NorthPark Partners is an unprecedented collaboration between competing developers McEagle and Clayco. Each had worked vigorously for the development rights of the land, but only after partnering in 2004, was NorthPark Partners awarded the project.
While the formation of the NorthPark Partners is groundbreaking, the parties that rallied around them are just as important. NorthPark includes land from three separate municipalities, Berkeley, Ferguson and Kinloch, and portions of unincorporated St. Louis County. All four entities have worked in cooperation with the NorthPark Partners to create an ideal mixed-use development for the 550-acre space.
As a result of both McEagle and Clayco’s superior standing in the real estate and development industry, the two have called on partnerships garnered from years of quality work. This includes strong relationships with the Missouri Department of Economic Development and public transit agency Metro.
